One year ago, I commented that "the Maui real estate market feels tighter than stats would indicate". That "feeling" was perhaps a precursor to today's reality with absorption rates significantly lower than back then. The condominium market in Central Maui has become especially tight with less than a 2 month supply, very good for today's sellers but not so good for today's buyers.
