Kauai News
Those who have been following my posts on the status of Hawaii interisland air travel after Aloha Airlines ceased operations have noted that costs are going up and flights are being sold out. So it's good news to hear today that Hawaiian Airlines is adding 4 Boeing 717-200 aircraft to it's fleet. At 100 seats per plane and multiple trips per day for the short 1/2 hour flights, this will offer significant additional interisland capacity.
In real estate news, Ritz Carlton announced that it is breaking ground today on its Kauai Lagoons project in Lihue. I have additional information on this 520 acre ocean-view resort featuring acres of manmade, navigatable lagoons should you have interest.
