Kauai Inventory Showing Improvement

Is Kauai inventory headed back down after climbing for 3 years and peaking in August?  I never take 1 month of data as a trend and am hesitant to call 2 months a trend as well.  But for now anyway, it does appear from our MLS data that inventory is on a downward track.  My own closings have increased substantially in this period which gives me encouragement.  The chart data for all of Kauai follows.

Aloha!

Hi Richard, How are you today? Inventory going down is good news, hopefully it means that there are more buyers in the market scooping up the good deals that are out there today!  Good info and hopefully a positive outlook for the future!

Hi Sandy - I'm fine and I continue to enjoy my new life in Hawaii.  I lived on the East Coast for 35 years and once considered relocating to your area.  I even shopped for homes there which were unbelievably low-priced at the time.  I'm sure you have done well with your investment plan of buying multiple properties.  Best wishes, Richard
